Full-length animations at the IFF Etiuda&Anima

Full-lenght animated movies are essential in the Etiuda&Anima Festival programme. Every year the most outstanding pieces from recent years are selected to be shown to our festival audience. This year we present: „Loving Vincent” by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchmana, „Revengeance” by Bill Plympton, „Ethel & Ernest” by Roger Mainwood and „Window Horses” by Ann Marie Fleming.

„Window Horses”

“Window Horses” is a 2016 Canadian animated feature film written and directed by Ann Marie Fleming, based on her graphic novel published under the same title. It follows the life of Rosie Ming, a young Canadian poet of mixed origin who grew up with her strict Chinese grandparents, believing to have been abandoned by her parents. One day, she sets off to a poetry festival in Shiraz, Iran, which will change her life forever.
