{"id":10414,"date":"2015-11-26T04:33:16","date_gmt":"2015-11-26T03:33:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/?p=10414"},"modified":"2015-11-26T04:33:16","modified_gmt":"2015-11-26T03:33:16","slug":"human-face-of-crisis-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacja.etiudaandanima.pl\/en\/news\/human-face-of-crisis-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Human face of crisis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The migration problem in Europe lasts for at least few years.<\/strong><!--more--><strong>Socially sensitive cinema\u00a0 was annoucing it 20 years, and today\u2019s young creators continue this tradition giving the event modern optics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1992 Grand Prix of Krak\u00f3w Film Festival went to Danish movie <em>Besieged Europe <\/em>by Poul-Eric Heilbuth and Hans B\u00fclow. Directors, trying to diagnose beginnings of crisis, showed in the movie rising wave of refugees from east and helpless Europeans dealing with it. Despite the reasons of migration were different then than now, we decided on this year Etiuda&amp;Anima Festival to remind this considerable work and treat it as starting point for discussion with one of its makers, Poul-Eric Heilbuth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9466 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/persisting-dreams-still-5.png\" alt=\"persisting dreams still #5\" width=\"219\" height=\"140\" \/>Also as a part of ETIUDA contest there will be two movies on refugee crisis shown:<em> Wada (Disadvantage) <\/em>by Khaled Mzher and <em>Uporczywe sny (Persistent Dreams)<\/em> by C\u00f4me Led\u00e9sert. First takes the face of Ibrahim, immigrant from Syria, who is touched by war raging in his country despite the distance measured in thousands of kilometers. While <em>Persistant dreams <\/em>has face of Toni, fisherman from Lampedusa \u2013 witness of tragic fight of refugees with element of water. For him refugees moving further into Europe seem to be like dreams leaving weak, but indelible trace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Personal and withdrawn cinema is the best way to get deeper look at the problem, which whole Europe is burning from.
