Energy, freshness, innovativeness, invention \u2013 six days of festival is going to be an explosion of talents from all around the world. We are going to see hundreds of movies \u2013 animations, documentaries and feature films, outlining new directions for cinema, like Kuba Czekaj\u2019s <em>Baby Bump<\/em>, awarded at this year\u2019s Film Festival in Venice.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-10240\" src=\"http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/806_rzezba_kadr5_RGB.jpg\" alt=\"806_rzezba_kadr5_RGB\" width=\"307\" height=\"177\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Festival is a great opportunity to meet both mature, experienced artists and debutants. We are going to see Signe Baumane, Kaspar Jancis, Cecilia Traslavi\u00f1a Gonz\u00e1lez, Teresa Glad, Maciej Dygas and Miros\u0142aw Dembi\u0144ski. With us in spirit there are going to be also Timothy and Stephen Quay and Christopher Nolan, author of the documentary about Brothers\u2019 output. William Kantridge are going to be our special quest \u2013 he is going to receive prestigious ASIFA award on the first day of Etiuda&amp;Anima Festival.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the gloomy November weather outside, we are going to travel to hot places of our<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-10239 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/071-PILTS-001-e1448225556372.jpg\" alt=\"071 PILTS 001\" width=\"285\" height=\"154\" \/> planet \u2013 we are going to visit animated Brazil (<em>Between Frames. The Art of Brazilian Animation<\/em>) and Colombia (Colombian animations by professionals and by students), documentary Istanbul, Kolkata and Baku (serie <em>World from Dawn till Dusk<\/em>). We are going to glance at Spain, Belgium, Switzerland and Romania (<em>Europe in Shorts<\/em>) and Netherlands (Netherlandse Filmacademie <a href=\"http:\/\/pl.bab.la\/slownik\/angielski-polski\/%C3%A9tude\">etude<\/a>s). We are also going to discover Sweden as we have never known it with <em>Journey to Melonia<\/em>, screenings of Swedish animation (Hundred years of Swedish animation) and Roy Andersson\u2019s commercials. We are also going to drop by Japan (<em>Giovanni\u2019s Island<\/em>) and by our neighbours from South (<em>Little from the Fish Shop<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>During the festival we are going to get some musical and visual experiences from Miss God (screening of <em>Snow White<\/em> with live music), collective SIBIGA, Andrzej Jacek Bronikowski and pianist Pawe\u0142 Kaczmarczyk (<em>Galactic Meander<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Etiuda&amp;Anima makes also a great opportunity to participate very useful and interesting workshops: professional 3D animation workshops arranged in cooperation with Autodesk, CadSoft and Platige Image; <em>Baby Bump <\/em>or how to make a film in a year \u2013 case study with Kuba Czekaj\u2019s movie producers; <em>Hee Hee Hatty <\/em>workshops for children.<\/p>\n<p>Find a detailed programme of E&amp;A 2015:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/program\/\">http:\/\/etiudaandanima.com\/program\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Etiuda&amp;Anima in Cracow is one of the most important festivals of Polish new cinema.
